This report outlines activity in the condos mentioned in our last report. There are 430 condos actively listed in the Sarasota MLS currently in the 34236 zip code area. Sales in the downtown area in July totaled 23 units, excluding Lido Key. With a great selection of condos available downtown and with urban lifestyles popular across the United States, Sarasota will do exceptionally well in the next 10 years.

Sarasota has experienced a back to the City movement the past several years fueled by a variety of new buildings. If you are considering an investment or permanent move, now is a great time to buy. There is an excellent selection of inventory and many seller's are very motivated. Below is information on several of the newest buildings.

Perfectly located at the corner of Main Street and Palm Avenue, 1350 main was completed in Late 2006. There are 134 condominiums ranging in price from the mid $300,000 to over $2,000,000.

The Broadway Promenade is a mixed-use project that includes 187 condominiums, a full-service Publix and 20,000 square feet of retail space.
